    Match summary

    A brilliant strike from Jordan Ayew gave Crystal Palace a third consecutive 1-0 win as they beat Watford at Selhurst Park.

    Ayew broke the deadlock for Palace on 28 minutes, firing into the top corner from outside the penalty area for his eighth league goal of the season.

    After the break, Wilfried Zaha was denied superbly by the legs of Ben Foster, while Troy Deeney forced Vicente Guaita into action at the other end.

    Palace go 11th on 39 points, while Watford remain 17th with 27 points, above the relegation zone on goal difference.
