The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Double Gameweek 34 (DGW34) ahead of the deadline at 13:30 BST on Saturday 20 April.

Az Phillips (@FPLBlackBox_Az)

It's Eberechi Eze (£6.1m) for me. I'm forced to attack this Gameweek, given my rank isn't where I want it to be. Liverpool and Arsenal players will dominate the captaincy, but with such a plethora of options across both squads, it's hard to know who will come out on top. Palace have two very winnable home matches and goals scored will almost certainly come through their star man Eze.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

By his standards, Mohamed Salah (£13.5m) is in a little dip of form - but this is Salah in a Double Gameweek - we shouldn't forget what those standards have delivered in the past. I'm backing the Egyptian.

Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral)

It's likely to be a shootout between Salah and Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) for the armband, but Eze is tempting as a differential!

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

I'm backing Arsenal to bounce back and win both matches in their Double Gameweek. Kai Havertz (£7.4m) could be a rewarding pick, but I'll probably go for Saka.

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)

He isn't in the best form, but Salah has too many routes to points to ignore. Two away matches isn't ideal, but I expect Liverpool to bounce back from their defeat by Crystal Palace.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Whenever there is a Double Gameweek it feels like you need to captain someone who plays twice. I am torn between Saka and Salah, as Arsenal and Liverpool try to hunt down Manchester City in their quest for the Premier League title.

I also really like Jean-Philippe Mateta (£5.0m) as a differential. His 11 attempts on goal over the last six Gameweeks are the most among Palace players, and he is also top for Expected Goals for the Eagles across the same period.

Holly Shand (@HollyShand)

Salah will take the armband in my side this week. He has underperformed since the international break, sitting top for shots but recording only two goal involvements from six big chances. He's due a haul.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

It's Salah for me. I'm hoping he can find his form again with decent fixtures against Everton and Fulham.
