Arsenal have agreed a deal to make Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding their third signing of the summer.
Having already brought Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano to Emirates Stadium, the Gunners have signed the 20-year-old defender on a long-term contract.
Holding, a versatile defender capable of playing centrally or as a full-back, was part of the Toulon-Tournament winning England Under-21 squad this summer.
The 20-year-old made 26 appearances in the Championship last season and won Bolton's Player of the Year award, having only made his senior debut in April of 2015 while on loan at Bury.
Arsenal play their first match of pre-season on Friday against RC Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
Their first fixture of the new Premier League season will be a home encounter with Liverpool on Sunday 14 August, kick-off at 4pm.
