How to prepare for Double Gameweek 37 in FPL

The final month of the Premier League season is here and Matchweek 36 will not disappoint.

‌Arsenal are still top of the table after an impressive 3-2 road victory at their arch rival Tottenham Hotspur, and now their next challenge will be a home match against in-form AFC Bournemouth.

The Gunners have a one-point lead over second-place Manchester City, but with the Cityzens still having a game in hand, Arsenal can’t afford to drop any points. Three straight wins suggest they have no intention of doing so, but Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth side has the fifth-most points in the league since the end of October.

The Cherries have two consecutive clean sheet victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion, and a win at Emirates Stadium could be the cherry on top of an incredible season.

‌The chance to lift the Premier League trophy in Jurgen Klopp’s final season seems to be slipping away from Liverpool, but they are still in the title race with a visit from Spurs on Sunday.

After going toe-to-toe with Arsenal and Man City all season, Liverpool have struggled in the final stretch, earning only one win in their last four league matches. The poor run of form has left them four points behind Man City and five behind Arsenal, but anything can happen in the PL.

Spurs have ground to make up in the race for a top-four finish, trailing Aston Villa by seven points, but have opportunities to close the gap with a makeup match on Thursday against Chelsea and their trip to Anfield on Sunday.

History is not on Spurs’ side as they have only won one of their last 29 top-flight matches at Anfield, but all three points could be pivotal in overtaking Villa.

While still one point behind Arsenal, Man City control their destiny in the quest for a fourth consecutive title. With a game in hand, a perfect stretch to end the year would seal the championship for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Their latest test can be viewed on NBC this Saturday as City host Wolves at the Etihad Stadium. Man City have won seven of their last eight home matches against Wolves, but Wolves got the better of them in the reverse fixture this season, and would love to earn a historic win on the road.

After several disappointing matches, Gary O’Neil’s side picked up a 2-1 win over Luton Town last weekend to get back on the right path. Now, they will face a determined City who are unbeaten in their previous 19 PL matches (W15 D4).
