Gedion Zelalem’s late goal earned Arsenal a 2-2 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion to deny the Seagulls a share of the Division 1 lead.
Xavier Amaechi marked his return from injury with the opening goal two minutes before half-time, but Brighton rallied in the second half through Anders Dreyer’s double.
Zelalem finished off Amaechi’s cross with four minutes left to frustrate the visitors.
Brighton lie third, two points behind leaders Everton, while an end to their four-match losing streak keeps Arsenal eighth on 17 points.
