Nathan Wood and Tyrone O'Neill were on target at Middlesbrough earned a 2-1 victory over Norwich City at Heritage Park.
Boro took the lead on 19 minutes when Wood rose to head Harry Chapman's cross past Jon McCracken.
O'Neill extended the hosts' lead with 11 minutes remaining with a low drive from the edge of the penalty area.
Although Norwich responded with a fine strike from 20 yards by Devonte Aransibia, Paul Stephenson's side held on for a win that lifts them to seventh place on 13 points, three clear of the 10th-placed Canaries.
