Everton came from two goals down in the second half to draw 2-2 with Manchester City and extend their unbeaten start to their Premier League 2 Division 1 title defence.
Visitors Man City were 2-0 up after 49 minutes at Merseyrail Community Stadium thanks to a penalty from Tommy Doyle and a Nabili Touaizi strike.
Antony Evans then gave the Toffees hope with a second stunning goal in as many matches, scoring with a free-kick.
Ellis Simms completed the comeback in the 82nd minute. He headed in after Anthony Gordon dribbled past three players and crashed a shot that rebounded off the crossbar.
The draw keeps David Unsworth's side in second, a point behind Chelsea who travel to Leicester City on Saturday. Man City are second-from-bottom, above Liverpool.
