A late own goal by Owen Otasowie gave Everton a 3-2 home win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Benny Ashley-Seal put Wolves ahead after three minutes, before two strikes from Ellis Simms in the 10th and 35th minutes put the Toffees 2-1 ahead.
Dion Sanderson equalised for Wolves before the break, but Otasowie’s own goal settled the match in Everton's favour nine minutes from time.
Everton remain eighth but move one point behind seventh-placed Liverpool and have a match in hand. Wolves drop to 11th, one place and one point from the bottom.
