The Fantasy Premier League transfer market has turned on its head in the space of just 10 days.
Approaching Gameweek 4, both Eden Hazard (£10.1m) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (£11.9m) were seemingly edging towards essential status.
Hazard had just returned 11 points in a 3-0 win over Burnley. In doing so, he had scored or assisted in each of his three Premier League appearances of the season.
Ibrahimovic had just blanked at Hull City, but confidence in the Swedish striker remained high as he still boasted a goal-a-match record at that point.
As the first ball was kicked in the Manchester derby, signalling the start of Gameweek 4, Hazard was part of 1,311,544 FPL squads, Ibrahimovic a staggering 2,363,575.
The pair had enjoyed price rises since the season kick-off. Both had boosted their initial values by £0.3m.
But, ten days later and FPL managers are ushering Hazard and Ibrahimovic to the exit.
The Hazard exodus is particularly stark. The Belgian has suffered two price drops since Friday’s deadline.
The Chelsea winger has been shipped out by 178,838 managers, with 33,668 selling on in the last 24 hours.
In both cases, that is more than any other FPL asset.
Faith in Ibrahimovic is also waning.
The Manchester United striker has suffered 87,146 sales since Friday's deadline, with 25,375 trading him out in 24 hours.
Both have hit the buffers in terms of form: the pair have mustered only a single goal and assist between them in the past two Gameweeks. But there are clearly outside influences at play.
Sergio Aguero (£13.0m) will return to contention following Manchester City's EFL Cup tie with Swansea City on Wednesday.
Already he has attracted 139,300 new owners prior to Gameweek 6. More than 38,000 of those have switched from Ibrahimovic.
Hazard's stream of transfers is also heading towards Man City players.
Kevin De Bruyne (£10.7m) is currently the most popular signing since Friday, with 230,200 acquiring his services.
Of those, 66,417 have made the straight swap from Hazard, with another 21,439 of the Chelsea midfielder's owners trading for Raheem Sterling (£8.4m).
There is every chance that both Ibrahimovic and Hazard will punish those adopting such a fickle approach.
Although, in both cases, they will need to overcome a stiffening fixture schedule if they are to recover form.
Hazard makes the Gameweek 6 trip to Arsenal on Saturday, with Leicester City and Manchester United arriving at Stamford Bridge in the next three that follow.
That visit to west London is part of a tough run for Ibrahimovic, who will also face Leicester and Liverpool in his next four matches.
