Former Premier League Executive Chairman dedicates award to family and staff at the organisation

Former Premier League Executive Chairman Richard Scudamore received his CBE at Buckingham Palace today and paid tribute to his family and his former colleagues.

Scudamore was appointed CBE for services to football in the New Year Honours list shortly after stepping down from the Premier League following almost 20 years leading the organisation with great distinction.

"Today is a special day but it's really about recognition for the whole of the Premier League, the staff, particularly my family," he said.

"This is for all of them, too."
