Derby County reached the Premier League Cup quarter-finals following a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Pride Park.
Jayden Mitchell-Lawson rounded off a memorable week by following his first-team debut against Stoke City on Wednesday with a goal and an assist to help the Rams reach the last eight of the competition for the first time.
The winger opened the scoring after just six minutes before teeing up Cameron Cresswell (pictured) to double Derby’s lead.
The visitors pulled a goal back through Ryan Giles with 10 minutes to go, but with the help of the excellence of goalkeeper by Josh Barnes, the Rams held on.
