2006: Watford 0-1 Sheffield United

Ex-Watford striker Danny Webber scored a late winner against his former club to give Sheffield United a crucial win in their relegation fight.

Substitute Webber dramatically headed in from close range in the 88th minute at Vicarage Road.

Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock said: "It's absolutely fantastic to come away with three points. It was hard work but I thought we were magnificent."

Come the end of the campaign, however, both sides were eventually relegated from the top flight, along with Charlton Athletic.

2007: Blackburn Rovers 0-4 Aston Villa

In-form Aston Villa won their fourth straight league match with a convincing 4-0 away success against Blackburn Rovers.

Home goalkeeper Scott Carson had already been forced to make several good saves when John Carew headed the opener on 29 minutes.

Gareth Barry's penalty then doubled the lead after Blackburn captain Ryan Nelsen was sent off for a foul on Gabriel Agbonlahor.

With nine minutes left, Ashley Young netted a fine curler from 20 yards and Marlon Harewood's late volley wrapped up a resounding victory a minute from time.

It was the first time Villa had won four Premier League fixtures back-to-back for over seven seasons and moved them up to sixth on 27 points, just a point outside the top four.
