On 25 July 2003, Jens Lehmann joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund to replace David Seaman.

The goalkeeper had a superb first season, playing every match as Arsenal's Invincibles won the Premier League title.

Between August 2003 and June 2007, Lehmann kept 52 clean sheets in the Premier League, only one behind Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.

He left in 2008 for Stuttgart but rejoined the Gunners briefly in 2011.
