2001: Everton 3-2 Aston Villa
Aston Villa suffered their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Everton.
Steve Watson headed Everton in front before Tomasz Radzinski and Thomas Gravesen made it 3-0 to put the Toffees in command after an hour.
A strike from Mustapha Hadji gave Villa hope, and goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel set up a thrilling finale as he remarkably volleyed in from a corner.
The result left Aston Villa fifth on 15 points, just one point off the top four, while Everton moved up to eighth with 14 points.
2012: Tottenham Hotspur 2-4 Chelsea
Chelsea inflicted defeat on former manager Andre Villas-Boas as they beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2.
Gary Cahill gave the visitors an early lead but just after half-time, William Gallas equalised for Spurs.
Striker Jermain Defoe put the home side in front for the first time, but two goals in three minutes for Juan Mata restored Chelsea's advantage.
Daniel Sturridge capped an impressive team performance in stoppage time to put the Blues top of the table with 22 points, four points ahead of second-placed Manchester United.
Spurs, on the other hand, were fifth on 14 points.
