Arsenal have signed left-back Kieran Tierney from Scottish champions Celtic, subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
The 22-year-old defender, who will wear the No 3 shirt, has signed a long-term deal and becomes Arsenal’s fifth summer recruit after Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos, William Saliba and Nicolas Pepe.
Tierney broke into the Celtic side in the 2015/16 season and helped them win four successive Scottish Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups and two Scottish league Cups.
The Scotland international has also won 12 caps for his country.
"He's a very talented player who will continue to improve," head coach Unai Emery told the club's official website.
"He increases our options defensively and I look forward to him joining our group."
Arsenal begin their 2019/20 Premier League campaign at Newcastle United on Sunday.
