Four men were shortlisted for the January 2020 Barclays Manager of the Month award.

Fans voted for their favourite out of Pep GuardiolaRalph HasenhuttlJurgen Klopp and Nigel Pearson.

The fans' votes were combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner.

Pep Guardiola (MCI)

Guardiola guided Manchester City up to second place in the table with 10 points out of 12. The league's top scorers netted 11 goals in January, including six at Aston Villa.

Ralph Hasenhuttl (SOU)

Hasenhuttl led Southampton, who were in the bottom three in December, up to ninth place with three wins from four matches, including successes over Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City.

Jurgen Klopp (LIV)

Klopp extended Liverpool's winning streak to 15 matches, with victories over Spurs and Manchester United among their five in January, as his side increased their lead at the top of the table to 19 points. He is aiming to win the award for a record fifth time this season.

Nigel Pearson (WAT)
P4 W2 D1 L1

Pearson continued to lead Watford's resurgence. The Hornets were unbeaten in their home matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Spurs, taking seven points from their first three matches in January.
