The worlds of a Premier League head coach and heart surgeon may seem light years apart.
But during a special video call from Frank Lampard to Dr Panos Theodoropoulos, those worlds were brought a little bit closer.
Chelsea head coach Lampard contacted lifelong Blues fan Dr Theodoropoulos, who works in the Intensive Care Unit at Hammersmith Hospital, just a few miles from Stamford Bridge.
And the pair were quick to find similarities in their roles when it comes to the importance of working together as a team.
"What's really struck me is that we don't always get to see the work that you're doing," said Lampard.
"The togetherness, the videos of everyone together and the group mentality, it seems pretty special from the outside."
The manner in which the staff and community have come together is one of the key positives for Dr Theodoropoulos in these difficult times.
"What I am going to take from this whole experience is the whole collective effort," he said, in an exchange detailed on Chelsea's official website.
"Everyone is giving everything they can according to their expertise and speciality.
"Even the public are helping out a lot; charitable organisations are making visors for the protective gear we are using, there are restaurants sending food and people cooking for us, things like that.
"And the clapping is very emotional for us as well. It is an amazing feeling. I cycle to work so when I have my night shift it always starts at 8pm. It is an emotional time and it is incredible what everyone is doing."
