Southampton have launched their "Saints By Your Side" campaign for Mental Health Awareness Week in partnership with Solent NHS Trust, to raise awareness of mental wellbeing and help tackle the stigma around mental health issues.

As part of a week of activity, current and former Saints players will be sharing tips with supporters on how to boost both their mental and physical wellbeing.

Supporters will be provided with information on how they can support their family and friends, as well as details of specialist services provided by the NHS, and apps that are available.

Southampton’s chief commercial officer David Thomas said: “We really hope that this particular campaign can offer some practical support to those who might be suffering from poor mental health at this very challenging time."

Fans will also be able to access the tips and information after Mental Health Awareness Week. For more information on the campaign, supporters can visit the Saints By Your Side website.
