Thomas Tuchel has been rewarded for his impressive impact at Chelsea with a two-year contract extension.
"I cannot imagine a better occasion for a contract renewal," Tuchel told the club's official website. "I am grateful for the experience and very happy to stay part of the Chelsea family.
"There is far more to come and we are looking forward to our next steps with ambition and much anticipation."
Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard in January with Chelsea sitting ninth in the Premier League. He led them to a top-four finish, FA Cup final and UEFA Champions League glory, helping them to win Europe’s elite club competition for only the second time.

Chelsea have also announced that they have extended Thiago Silva's contract by one year.
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia told the club's official website: "Thiago has duly shown everyone at Chelsea his immense quality throughout this season, and he has had a huge influence on and off the pitch for us.
"We said when he signed that we hoped Thiago would add new trophies to his impressive list of honours, and he has done just that with our success in the Champions League. We now hope that he carries on in exactly the same fashion in the coming year."
Olivier Giroud will also stay at Stamford Bridge for another season after his deal was extended.
Chelsea will learn their first opponents of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign when the season's fixtures are released on premierleague.com and the Premier League app on Wednesday 16 June at 09:00 BST.
