The Bonus Points

Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles (£4.7m) earned the maximum Fantasy Premier League bonus points in their 2-0 triumph at Leicester City.

Scoring 36 in the Bonus Points System (BPS), the Spanish shotstopper made a telling contribution at both ends of the pitch.

Robles assisted Kevin Mirallas' (£6.0m) opening goal, while producing 13 recoveries and two saves as the Toffees registered a fourth shutout of the season.

Romelu Lukaku (£9.4m) tallied 34 in the BPS to collect two bonus points.

The Belgian striker netted a late second and also created two goalscoring opportunities.

Ashley Williams (£4.9m) picked up a single bonus point, with 31 in the BPS.

The summer signing from Swansea City made 16 clearances, blocks and interceptions (CBI) and six recoveries, while also completing 88% of 52 attempted passes.

The Scout Notes

Lukaku’s strike took his tally to three goals in the last four Gameweeks ahead of an improving schedule for Everton.

Owned by more than 26% of FPL managers, the striker could now be braced for further investment as eight of his next 11 matches score no more than two in the Fixture Difficulty Rankings (FDR).

Ronald Koeman rolled out a 3-4-2-1 formation at the King Power Stadium, with Leighton Baines (£5.3m) and Seamus Coleman (£5.5m) as wing-backs.

Riyad Mahrez, left, was a substitute as Demarai Gray earned a first start since Gameweek 1

Despite fielding three centre-halves, the Dutchman again benched Phil Jagielka (£4.8m), allowing Mason Holgate (£4.0m) a return to the starting XI for the first time since Gameweek 3.

Claudio Ranieri was without three regulars – Robert Huth (£4.9m), Christian Fuchs (£5.3m) and Jamie Vardy (£9.6m) – through suspension, yet still opted to bench Riyad Mahrez (£9.0m), with the Algerian only utilised late on.

Demarai Gray (£4.8m) was handed a first start since Gameweek 1 on the right flank.

Both Huth and Fuchs return to contention in Gameweek 19, but Vardy remains banned for the next two Gameweek outings.
