LEICESTER CITY

NAME: Cory Wickwar
AGE: 16
GAMER TAG: CozzaW
CONSOLE: PlayStation
ePL HISTORY: Debut

Player Profile:
Cory is a lifelong Leicester City fan and will be hoping to bring both passion and skill to the EA SPORTS FIFA stage.

At just 16 years old, he made a name for himself in the Leicester City qualifiers with his patient playing style. With a deep understanding of the club and the sport, Cory is ready to take on the competition and represent Leicester to the fullest.

Why should people be excited for the ePremier League?
"It is a new opportunity to be able to represent the club that you support."

What would it mean to you to win the ePremier League?
"Representing Leicester and winning the ePL would mean the world as I’ve been a lifelong Leicester fan."

What formation and style of play do you adopt in-game usually?
"4-4-2(2), I usually play quick build up football and I am patient when finding the right pass when attacking."

Who is the most underrated Premier League item in FUT 23?
"Joao Cancelo."

What has been your favourite moment in the ePL so far?
"Winning the Leicester City Club Playoffs final to qualify."

ePL Invitational Highlights:
Cory wasn’t impressed with the Fun House challenge despite performing well with limited vision – he was eventually defeated 3-2 by Tom Leese in a close match.

NAME: Nathan Bampoe-Parry
AGE:
20
GAMER TAG:

SOCIAL HANDLE:

CONSOLE:
Xbox
ePL HISTORY:
Debut

Player Profile:
Nathan aka Deji is a professional EA SPORTS FIFA player and just like his team-mate Cory, he is new to the ePremier League scene and will be playing in his first tournament this year. Looking to take the next step in his competitive EA SPORTS FIFA career, Nathan is aiming to bring back the trophy for Leicester.

Why should people be excited for the ePremier League?
"The ePremier League is an exciting event because it features the best UK players competing to see who is the top player in the UK scene."

What would it mean to you to win the ePremier League?
"Winning the ePremier League would mean everything to me, as I have put in a lot of hard work to reach this level. It would help me take the next step in my EA SPORTS FIFA esports career."

What formation and style of play do you adopt in-game usually?
"I usually play with the formation 4-3-2-1, as it allows me to counter-attack, build slowly, and attack using the overlapping full-back or through the middle."

Who is the most underrated Premier League item in FUT 23?
"The most underrated Premier League item in EA SPORTS FIFA 23 is definitely Out of Position Perisic. He is the best coin-for-coin box-to-box midfielder in the game and can do it all!"

What has been your favourite moment in the ePL so far?
"The final of the Leicester City Club Playoffs. I lost the year before in the final to qualify, so to get it over the line this year was a surreal moment. The feeling when the final whistle blew and I qualified was something I'll never forget."

ePL Invitational Highlights:
A strong second half performance from Nathan in the Fun House challenge was enough to tie the game 4-4, but this wasn’t enough to salvage a draw for Team Elz.
