Maddison has delivered attacking returns in three successive Gameweeks for the first time since Gameweek 3.

He has scored once and supplied three assists in Leicester's matches against Leeds United, Everton and Fulham to collect 17 points.

The underlying statistics show Maddison has been a major all-round influence on the Foxes since Dean Smith took charge in Gameweek 31.

Maddison’s 16 shots, eight shots in the box, five big chances and six shots on target all rank first or joint-first for Leicester over that run.

Meanwhile, his 14 chances created are at least 10 more than any team-mate.

Maddison also fares well when assessed against other players in Fantasy during that period.

Indeed, his 16 shots and 14 chances created both put him among the top six players overall.

That suggests Maddison will have a major part to play in Leicester’s bid to stay in the Premier League.

Leicester are inside the relegation zone after Monday's 5-3 defeat at Fulham.

But they will take encouragement from their visitors’ frailties on their travels, with Liverpool keeping only four clean sheets in away matches this season.

Maddison has the all-round potential to exploit those weaknesses as Leicester look to climb out of the bottom three.
