The creative patterns on the pristine King Power Stadium pitch have provided the backdrop for Leicester City's success since their return to the Premier League in 2014.
John Ledwidge is the senior groundsman at Leicester and, speaking in the video below, explains the dedication and meticulous planning required from him and his groundsteam all year round.
“You do become very protective and nurture it like it’s your own," he said. "It’s almost like a new baby.”
