Sheffield United have signed Ivorian winger Benie Traore from Swedish champions BK Hacken.
The 20-year-old has signed a four-year contract and becomes the Blades’ third summer signing, after Anis Slimane and Yasser Larouci.

Sheff Utd manager Paul Heckingbottom told the club’s official website: “Benie is an exciting young player who works really hard and uses his pace to press out of possession as well as using it as a threat by playing on the last man.
“We see Benie as someone who has the qualities and the ability to play at the top level.”

Traore's move to the Premier League is the latest highlight of an impressive 2023 so far.
In March he won his first international cap for Ivory Coast at Under-23 level.
The Swedish league then began in April, and Traore scored 12 goals in his 14 appearances before leaving BK Hacken, including a first-half hat-trick against Hammarby.
