Ange Postecoglou has said as long as he is in charge of Tottenham Hotspur they will always have a go, even if they went "down to five men" following their 4-1 defeat to Chelsea.
Spurs had Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie sent off during a chaotic London derby as their unbeaten start to the Premier League season came to an end.

"I am very proud of the players. Right to the very end they were trying to create something for us,” Postecoglou said.

“The players couldn't give any more than they did, part of this game is will, effort and determination and they showed that.
"It's just who we are, mate. It's who we're gonna be as long as I'm here. We go down to five men, we'll have a go."
As well as two red cards being shown, five yellows were awarded, five goals were disallowed or overturned by VAR and 21 minutes of added time was played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
🎙️ “In terms of effort, will and determination it was outstanding by the lads — they gave everything they could.”

"You have to accept the referee's decision, that is how I grew up. This constant erosion of the referee's authority is where the game is going to get - they are not going to have any authority," the Spurs head coach added.
“We are going to be under the control of someone with a TV screen a few miles away. The decision is the decision. In 26 years I have had plenty of bad decisions, I have had plenty fall in my favour. It is what it is."
Spurs’ misery was compounded further with injuries to midfielder James Maddison and defender Micky van de Ven.
"It’s too early to say definitively, but with Micky it looks like a pretty significant one," Postecoglou said.
“He [Maddison] got a knock on the ankle, we were down one man already. It made sense to make a couple of changes at that point.”
