The Manchester City striker has been struggling with a foot injury, missing the last two matches in all competitions, and faces a race against time to be available for next Tuesday's FIFA Club World Cup semi-final in Saudi Arabia.
“He arrived today and the doctors will see him and we will see how he feels," said Guardiola during Friday's press conference.
“He has been for treatment away. Hopefully he can travel to Saudi tomorrow after the game.
“I think he is going to travel with us and after that we will see if he is able to play the first game or the second, or when we come back.”
Asked if Haaland will be able to face Palace this weekend, Guardiola said: “I don’t think so. But maybe there will [be a] surprise and they tell me something new, but I don’t think so.”
FPL managers need to react
Haaland's likely absence against Palace means Fantasy Premier League managers will quickly need to consider their options ahead of Friday's 18:30 GMT deadline.
The Norwegian is the most-owned player in the game, selected in 75 per cent of squads, but that number has been dropping throughout the week due to his injury.
Indeed, he is the most-sold player ahead of Gameweek 17, with 880,000+ managers moving him on.
