A home encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion gives James Maddison (£7.9m) the opportunity to extend his run of returns in Fantasy Premier League.

The Tottenham Hotspur playmaker has delivered assists in back-to-back matches since recovering from injury, claiming 12 points.

Brighton, meanwhile, have struggled in defence on the road recently, conceding eight goals across their last three away matches in all competitions.

Maddison is picked in a best XI that line up in a 3-5-2 formation, with Erling Haaland (£14.2m) handed the armband and Richarlison (£7.2m) named vice-captain.

Ederson (Man City) £5.5m

The goalkeeper offers a secure route into the Manchester City defence at home to Everton. Ederson hosts a Toffees side who have failed to score in three of the last four Gameweeks.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £8.5m

Liverpool’s right-back goes into his home match against Burnley on the back of just two blanks in nine home starts this season. Alexander-Arnold has combined a goal and three assists with five clean sheets and 10 bonus points across those Anfield encounters.

Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) £6.8m

The Newcastle United right-back has stepped up his attacking output ahead of his visit to Nottingham Forest. Trippier has produced a goal and two assists in the last two Gameweeks, which means he has already matched his total of one goal and nine assists from last season.

Alfie Doughty (Luton) £4.6m

Luton Town’s wing-back looks a big attacking threat at home to Sheffield United. Doughty has one goal and four assists in the last five Gameweeks, with his corner kicks set to be a major weapon against the Blades.

Diogo Jota (Liverpool) £8.1m

The Portuguese has amassed 29 points in the last three Gameweeks without Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), more than any other Liverpool midfielder or forward. Jota is among the top captain picks against a Burnley side who have conceded three goals in each of their last two away matches.

Phil Foden (Man City) £7.9m

The England star’s hat-trick against Brentford gave him his career-high haul of 20 points on Monday evening. Foden has blanked just once in his last six outings, earning 53 points thanks to four goals and four assists.

James Maddison (Spurs) £7.9m

The Spurs star has been among the most consistent players in 2023/24, producing a goal or an assist in nine of his 13 appearances.

Richarlison (Spurs) £7.2m

Spurs’ Brazilian is the second most-bought player in Gameweek 24 after his brace against Everton last weekend. Richarlison is the top-scoring player in Fantasy since being moved up front in Gameweek 15, scoring nine goals to collect 72 points.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £5.9m

The Chelsea midfielder visits Crystal Palace on the back of four goals, an assist and 38 points in the last four Gameweeks. Palmer can exploit an Eagles side who have conceded 12 goals in that period, the joint-worst record in the league.

Erling Haaland (Man City) £14.2m

The Norwegian marked his first start since Gameweek 15 with an assist against Brentford on Monday evening. Despite his recent injury, Haaland’s total of 26 shots in the box in home matches this season is at least double the total of any other Man City player.

Ivan Toney (Brentford) £8.1m

His huge threat from free-kicks and corners can help Brentford take advantage of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ frailties in defence. Toney’s opponents rank among the worst three sides for conceding shots from set-pieces and headed shots in the last four Gameweeks.
