Andoni Iraola's side scored four times in the second half through Dominic Solanke, Illia Zabarnyi and an Antoine Semenyo brace to join an exclusive handful of teams who have achieved such a feat.
It is only the fifth time a Premier League team have won after going 3-0 down, with the previous four occasions all coming in the space of six years from 1997 to 2003.
It is also just the third time a side have trailed by that scoreline at half-time and still emerged victorious.

Leeds United were the first team to come back from 3-0 down to win a Premier League match when they faced Derby County in 1997/98.
After going three goals down inside 33 minutes, Rod Wallace, Harry Kewell and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink got on the scoresheet before Lee Bowyer scored the winner in the 90th minute at Elland Road.
Eleven months later, Wimbledon became the first team to achieve the feat away from home.
Two goals and an assist from Ian Wright gave West Ham United a 3-0 lead inside 27 minutes at the Boleyn Ground, the Hammers' former stadium. But Marcus Gayle pulled one back on the half-hour mark, and second-half goals from Jason Euell, Gayle and Efan Ekoku secured victory for the visitors.
In 2001/02, Manchester United made history as the first team to win a match after being 3-0 down at half-time, in an iconic match.
Goals from Tottenham Hotspur trio Dean Richards, Les Ferdinand and Christian Ziege stunned the reigning champions at White Hart Lane, but it was not enough for even a point.
Andy Cole started the comeback within the first minute of the second half and Man Utd were level after 76 minutes. Juan Sebastian Veron put the visitors ahead and David Beckham completed a memorable 5-3 victory late on.
Ferdinand was involved again on the losing side two years later, but this time for Leicester City.
He scored twice inside 15 minutes before assisting Riccardo Scimeca to give the Foxes a 3-0 lead at half-time. But Colin Cameron struck quickfire goals in the 52nd and 59th minutes before Alex Rae and Henri Camara completed the turnaround for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
