As the dust still settles on the 2023/24 season, we asked Premier League players for their favourite moments.

From braces to bicycle kicks and last-ditch tackles, here is what they said.

Matheus Cunha (Wolves)

A superb hat-trick by Wolverhampton Wanderers' Portuguese star was the foundation of a stunning 4-2 victory at Chelsea - completing the club's first league "double" over the Blues since 1974/75. Little wonder that Cunha was delighted at beating these particular opponents, and also becoming only the fourth visiting player to score a top-flight hat-trick against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth)

"It HAS to be the second goal in the 4-3 comeback [win] against Luton," said Semenyo. And why not? Bournemouth trailed 3-0 at half-time but Semenyo inspired a sensational second-half turnaround, levelling the match just 19 minutes after the restart before scoring the winner in the 83rd minute. Semenyo's matchwinner was his personal highlight, while the Cherries' incredible victory won the Oracle Most Improbable Comeback award

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace)

The best things in life are worth waiting for. Just ask Palace forward Mateta, who grabbed his first - and the Eagles' first - home Premier League hat-trick as they thumped Aston Villa 5-0 on the final day of the 2023/24 season.

Rasmus Hojlund (Man Utd)

The explosion of raw emotion by the young striker after scoring his first Premier League goal for Manchester United summed up Hojlund's relief after navigating a difficult start to life at Old Trafford. No surprise then that his winner to settle a stunning 3-2 comeback victory against Aston Villa on Boxing Day was his pick of the bunch!

Dominic Solanke (AFC Bournemouth)

There were "many great moments" according to Bournemouth striker Solanke. But, pushed to pick out his best, he selected his hat-trick in December's 3-2 win at Nottingham Forest, his first ever Premier League treble.

Joao Gomes (Wolves)

Gomes doesn't score many goals - three in 45 Premier League appearances for Wolves - which is why his brace to secure a 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur in February was the 23-year-old's clear highlight from the campaign.

Yoane Wissa (Brentford)

Just WOW! Technique, athleticism, accuracy and a goal worthy of gracing any stage. Wissa chose his wonderful overhead kick as his favourite memory in Brentford's thrilling 2-2 derby draw with Chelsea.

Diogo Dalot (Man Utd)

The Portuguese international selected not one but TWO magical moments - firstly, his superb 20-yard curler at Sheffield United, and also his incredible last-ditch block to deny West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen.

Anthony Elanga (Nott'm Forest)

Scoring your first goal for a new club is always special, and that proved to be the case for Elanga, whose first goal for Nottingham Forest also proved to be the matchwinner in a 1-0 victory at Chelsea, ending a run of nine matches without success against the Blues across all competitions.

Pedro Neto (Wolves)

"I have to think!" said Neto, who unsurprisingly opted for Wolves' stunning 2-1 win over Manchester City on 30 September - the defending champions' first defeat of the season.
