The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 13 ahead of the deadline at 18:30 GMT on Friday 29 November.
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)
I'm currently torn between Cole Palmer (£10.9m), who will get a midweek rest before facing an Aston Villa team who could look leggy following their goalless draw with Juventus, and Bryan Mbeumo (£7.9m), who has the best-looking fixture at home to a Leicester side that appear short of ideas.

I think this week is really close between several good options. Mohamed Salah (£13.1m), Palmer, Bukayo Saka (£10.2m) and Mbeumo would be top of my long list. I am looking at Palmer myself given the home fixture and a midweek rest for most of the Chelsea team before taking on a Villa side that had a tough midweek match against Juventus playing a full-strength XI. I am tempted by Salah and Saka too though, so it will go down to the wire.

Loads of really good options this week and with an in-form Liverpool up against an out-of-sorts Manchester City, who'd back against Mohamed Salah (£13.1m) grabbing his NINTH double-digit haul of the season?

It is between Salah and Palmer for me. Their respective opponents Man City and Villa have looked suspect at the back, but given Salah's red-hot form, I'm tempted to give him the armband.

My plan a few weeks ago was to captain Palmer at home to Villa, while Salah and Erling Haaland (£15.1m) square off, but based on Man City's recent defensive performances, I think Salah is now the best pick.

Looking at the fixtures of my players, Matheus Cunha (£7.0m) would be the sensible pick, and he's tempting, but I'm likely to go for Palmer, who I fancy to get attacking returns against a leaky Villa side.

Gameweek 13 is the perfect week to take a punt on captaincy if you want to. There is no standout player combining form and fixture that is also reliable. Cunha, Joao Pedro (£5.6m), Chris Wood (£6.6m) and Mbeumo are nice differentials, but I imagine most will end up on Palmer, Salah or Saka. Currently I have it on Salah, even against Man City, due to the champions conceding so many chances and Liverpool, especially Salah, looking somewhat unstoppable.

If I owned him, I would captain Saka this week. But as I am unlikely to bring him in until Gameweek 14, I'm choosing between Palmer, Salah and Mbeumo for the armband. Brentford star Mbeumo has produced a goal or an assist in every home match so far this season, so he could be a great differential pick, but I am likely to stick with Salah given Man City's defensive weaknesses.
