The theme of this week's Fantasy Challenge is "Final Countdown". In this Gameweek, the formation must be 2-0-2-5 (two goalkeepers, two midfielders and five forwards). There is an unlimited budget for your nine-a-side team.
Here, FPL expert Louis Roberts reveals his approach for Gameweek 19.
Pick your Fantasy Challenge team NOW!
Goalkeepers
In this week's Challenge, you need to select TWO goalkeepers. My first pick is Dean Henderson (£4.4m). Crystal Palace showed they are capable of keeping clean sheets in their goalless draw with AFC Bournemouth in Gameweek 18. This week they come up against bottom side Southampton, who have failed to score in each of their last four matches.
I have also opted for Everton's Jordan Pickford (£4.9m). The Toffees have impressed recently from a defensive perspective - collecting four clean sheets across their last six matches, with the England international bagging a defensive return in all but one of those same games. Pickford has shown fantastic shot-stopping prowess this campaign, which he may need to do again versus an in-form Nottingham Forest.
There are plenty of alternative goalkeeper options this week. Among those is Liverpool's Alisson (£5.4m), who has a good opportunity to add to his tally of four clean sheets so far this season at West Ham United.
One 'keeper who has both save-point and clean-sheet potential in Gameweek 19 is Chelsea's Robert Sanchez (£4.8m). He will also be seeking his fifth shutout of the season at promoted Ipswich Town.
Midfielders
I found it very difficult to look past Mohamed Salah (£13.5m) this week. Liverpool have netted at least two goals in each of their previous 10 league matches - an incredible run of attacking form. This week is anther great opportunity to extend that run at West Ham.
The Hammers have struggled defensively this campaign, and the fact they rank among the four-worst teams in the division for shots in the box conceded (210) and total big chances conceded, with 59, reinforces that. Taking advantage of their poor defensive numbers could be talisman and penalty-taker Salah, who has recorded an eye-watering 11 double-digit hauls already this season. Taking all of that into account, the Liverpool star is also my captain.
Completing my two-man midfield this week is Chelsea's Cole Palmer (£11.3m). The Blues are another side who have impressed from an attacking perspective this season - ranking third for goals scored, with 38. Contributing to a whopping 19 of those goals is their talisman and penalty-taker Palmer. Ipswich sit among the worst sides so far for multiple underlying defensive stats, so Palmer has a great fixture to deliver once again.
Several alternative midfield options crossed my mind. Tottenham Hotspur may be inconsistent, but only Liverpool have found the net more than Ange Postecoglou's men thus far. We also have to take into account that they host Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are the joint-worst defence in the league for goals conceded, with 40. The stats suggest we could see plenty of goals in this one, and penalty=taker Son Heung-min (£9.8m) could well be among the points if that happens.
Another player who could be tempting this week is Anthony Gordon (£7.3m). Newcastle United appear to be gaining some attacking momentum as of late - racking up three or more goals in each of their last three matches. Among the goals was Gordon, who has impressively managed at least one return in five of his last six outings. The Magpies visit a Manchester United side who have shipped at least two goals in four of their last five games, which suggests Gordon could continue his excellent run.
Forwards
An unlimited budget and five forward slots to fill means I can select Erling Haaland (£14.8m). The Norwegian has produced only one goal and one assist across his last five matches, but this week could see him return to form given he faces Leicester, the other side who have conceded 40 goals this season.
Another player with the potential to recapture previous form this week is Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.2m). Crystal Palace may not be the most reliable when it comes to scoring goals, but they have netted at least once in four of their last five games. Most of the Eagles' appeal this week comes from their fixture, at home to Southampton. As well as conceding 37 goals, the third-most in the division, Saints have also allowed the most big chances, with 72. All of this indicates that Mateta, who leads the Palace attack, boasts big potential.
More convincing than my previous two picks based on recent form, Alexander Isak (£9.1m) could be a shoo-in this week. Newcastle's impressive scoring form and Manchester United's defensive struggles could mean more joy for the Swede. Isak has been in scintillating form recently - registering seven goals and two assists over his last five appearances alone.
Chelsea's impressive attack makes them a great team to invest in this week. Spearheading the Blues' frontline is Nicolas Jackson (£8.3m), who has banked 13 attacking returns in just 17 matches this season.
Taking up my final forward spot for Gameweek 19, we turn to Tottenham Hotspur. Ange Postecoglou's side can't be underestimated, even when taking into account their inconsistent form. In fact, along with ranking second for goals scored with 39, they also netted at least three goals in three of their last four league games. The home fixture against Wolves makes their attack one of the most appealing to invest in this week, and leading it is Dominic Solanke (£7.5m). He has produced a goal or an assist in three of his last four matches.
Other forwards worth consideration include Fulham's Raul Jimenez (£5.5m), for his home fixture against Bournemouth, Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus (£6.8m), for the Gunners' trip to Brentford and Liverpool's Cody Gakpo (£7.2m), who faces West Ham.
