A goal from Christian Eriksen gave Tottenham Hotspur their first Premier League win at Wembley Stadium, as they edged AFC Bournemouth 1-0.
The visitors had the best chances of the first half.
Junior Stanislas's shot was deflected inches wide before Hugo Lloris superbly stopped what would have been an Eric Dier own goal.
Eriksen made the difference when he slotted in from just inside the box two minutes into the second half for his third goal of 2017/18.
Harry Kane twice came close to his first home goal this season and, although Spurs dominated, they needed Lloris to deny substitute Jermain Defoe late on to confirm the victory.
