Crystal Palace have announced plans to redevelop Selhurst Park, their home of 93 years.

The rebuild, which Palace are hopeful will get under way within the next 12 months, will increase the stadium's capacity from 26,000 to more than 34,000, as well as offer improved facilities for disabled supporters and an all-round better matchday experience.

"We need a stadium that reflects who we are, how far we have come and where we want to go - a stadium that south London can be proud of, a home worthy of our incredible support and unique atmosphere and this great Premier League we represent," chairman Steve Parish told the club's official website.
