After becoming only the second person to reach 200 Premier League goals Wayne Rooney says he is not setting himself any more goalscoring targets.
The Everton forward received the Cadbury’s Milestone Award for reaching his double century with a goal against Manchester City this season.
Alan Shearer (260) is the only player to have scored more in the Premier League.
"I’ve never really been one to set targets," Rooney, who has now 208 PL goals, told premierleague.com. "I just continue playing, trying to score goals and help us win games.
"If the goals tally up and reach the next milestone then that’ll be great for me but also for Everton."
In the video above Rooney also reflects on the first, and probably most famous, of his many strikes.
