Watford midfielder Ashley Charles equalised late on against Cardiff City to give his side what could be an important away point in the Premier League Cup.
After Mark Harris hit the crossbar for Cardiff, the home side took the lead on 75 minutes at the Cardiff City Stadium through substitute Ogo Obi's shot.
But with a minute to go, Charles fired into the bottom corner from the edge of the area to put the third-placed Hornets level on points with Blackburn Rovers in second, and two points behind Group B leaders Southampton.
Cardiff remain bottom having claimed two points from their three fixtures.
