When discussing the best passers of a ball in Premier League, the names of Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham inevitably come near the top.
The Manchester United trio played a key part in the Red Devils winning 13 Premier League titles with such style.
But Kevin De Bruyne could be better than all three, say two former United players.
Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves saw the passing skills of Scholes, Giggs and Beckham at first hand but both believe De Bruyne is equal to them, if not ahead, with the level of play he has exhibited for Manchester City this season.
In fact, Owen believes the Belgian is the best of the lot.
"De Bruyne, Scholes, Giggs, Beckham would be my order," the former striker responds when asked to rank the four for passing.
Hargreaves adds: "To be in that company already just shows you how great he’s performing."
