Burnley will be hoping for a winning start to life back in the Premier League as Swansea City pay visit this weekend.

The Championship winners return to the top flight after producing 20 clean sheets in 2015/16, with 12 of those arriving in front of their own supporters.

Sean Dyche’s side will also be optimistic of breaching a Swansea defence who failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their nine away fixtures under Francesco Guidolin last term.

After notching nine times in pre-season, striker Andre Gray (£6.5m) has collected 11.3% ownership in Fantasy Premier League, making him the most popular Burnley player by some distance.

Michael Keane, the Burnley centre-half, on the other hand, currently resides in just 0.9% of FPL squads.

A key component in Burnley's title-winnning side, Keane featured on 44 occasions under Dyche and his displays at both ends of the pitch were vital.

Priced at £5.0m, Keane is the most expensive option in Burnley’s rearguard for good reason.

The former Manchester United defender found the net five times and also provided an assist last season, with his aerial threat in the box proving a major weapon.

This could be a factor on Saturday against Swansea, given that only one other Premier League side conceded more headed attempts away from home in 2015/16.

Leading from the back in the promotion campaign, Keane produced a total of 34 attempts on goal – only four team-mates managed more.

All those 34 efforts arrived inside the box, which was more than any defender in the 2015/16 Premier League. West Bromwich Albion’s Craig Dawson (£5.0m) led the way with 29.

An average of 114 minutes per attempt on goal was almost identical to Crystal Palace’s Scott Dann (£5.5m), who also scored on five occasions in 2015/16, highlighting Keane’s potential ability to pick up points even if the Clarets fail to keep out their opponents.
