1995: Crystal Palace 0-3 Arsenal
Paul Merson scored one goal and set up two more for Chris Kiwomya as Arsenal triumphed 3-0 away against London rivals Crystal Palace.
Merson gave the Gunners a 24th-minute breakthrough and then teed up Kiwomya before half-time, before repeating the feat 13 minutes from the end.
Arsenal climbed into eighth place with 40 points while Crystal Palace remained in the bottom four, one point from safety.
2001: Manchester United 6-1 Arsenal
Dwight Yorke hit a hat-trick inside the opening 22 minutes as Manchester United hit Arsenal for six and stretched their lead at the top.
While Thierry Henry cancelled out Yorke's first strike, the hosts were 3-1 up midway through the first half, and Roy Keane made it 4-1 in the 26th minute.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer struck United's fifth goal before the interval and, although the rate of scoring slowed, Teddy Sheringham added further gloss to the scoreline at the end.
The victory gave Sir Alex Ferguson's side a 16-point lead over second-placed Arsenal.
