2002: Shearer scores 200th PL goal

Alan Shearer became the first player to reach 200 Premier League goals as he struck for Newcastle United in a 3-0 win over Charlton Athletic. 

After goals from Gary Speed and Lomana Lua Lua, Shearer reached the milestone in the 89th minute at St James' Park. 

The win all but confirmed fourth-placed Newcastle's UEFA Champions League qualification, while Charlton dropped to 13th.

2008: Aston Villa 5-1 Birmingham City

Ashley Young and John Carew both scored twice as Aston Villa secured their biggest 'Second City' derby win since 1988. 

Gabriel Agbonlahor also scored for a Villa side who ended the day with 15 goals from their past three matches to rise to sixth in the table.

Mikael Forssell got Birmingham's consolation goal at Villa Park as the relegation-threatened Blues were left a point and a place from safety.
