1994: Norwich City 3-0 Chelsea
Norwich City earned a 3-0 victory over Chelsea at Carrow Road, taking them level with their visitors on points.
Ashley Ward’s double gave the Canaries a two-goal advantage at half-time, and Jamie Cureton added gloss to the scoreline in the 88th minute.
The result left Chelsea eighth on 27 points, while Norwich moved up to ninth, also on 27 points.
2011: Norwich City 4-2 Newcastle United
Grant Holt’s double condemned 10-man Newcastle United to their third league defeat in four matches.
The first half ended level after goals from Wes Hoolahan and Demba Ba, but Holt and Steve Morison put the Canaries 3-1 up and Newcastle’s Dan Gosling was sent off soon after.
The visitors threatened an unlikely comeback when Ba struck again to halve the deficit. However, Holt’s second header sealed the three points.
The result left Newcastle seventh on 26 points, just outside the top six on goal difference, while Norwich climbed to 10th on 19 points, putting seven points between themselves and the bottom three.
