Norwich City were denied rising to third in Premier League 2 Division 2 as Sunderland pegged them back in a 1-1 draw.
Adam Idah put Norwich 1-0 up after being teed up by Anthony Spyrou in the 29th minute.
But Jack Bainbridge levelled in the 44th minute, earning Sunderland their fourth point in two matches after defeats in their opening three fixtures.
