Lucas Moura has expressed his joy at winning the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for August.
The 26-year-old made the most of his move to a more central, advanced position at Tottenham Hotspur, scoring three goals last month as his team claimed three successive victories against Newcastle United, Fulham and Manchester United.
"It is difficult to explain what I am feeling," Lucas said holding the award. "I am so happy because I know it is not easy to win this trophy.
"I waited a lot for this moment and I need to enjoy and to keep working because I believe I have much more that will come."

It is the 22nd time a Spurs player has won the award and the fourth time it has gone to a Brazilian.
Juninho, Edu and David Luiz are the previous winners from Brazil.
Lucas won from a seven-man shortlist after receiving the most combined votes from a panel of experts, Premier League captains, and from fans.
