Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) has yet to emulate last season's form but is that about to change to the delight of the 33.5 per cent of Fantasy Premier League managers who have him in their side?
Salah hit 32 goals in 2018/19 on the way to an FPL record 303 points. But, this season, the Liverpool midfielder has mustered three goals from eight Gameweeks.
In the latest FPL Show, Sam and Lee Bonfield of @FPLFamily analyse the Egyptian's numbers this season.
They reveal that Salah is ahead of where he was at this stage last season for shots (32 to 28), big chances (eight to seven), chances created (17 to 10) and touches in the opposition penalty area (65 to 49).
"Every stat says he is on a par with last year, but the eye-test doesn't quite do it this year," Lee says.
For those thinking of selling their Liverpool attacking assets, Sam warns that big points could come if Salah, Sadio Mane (£9.9m) and Roberto Firmino (£9.3m) click at Huddersfield Town next Saturday.
"It seems like the whole of the Liverpool front three aren't quite where they were last season," Sam says. "When they work together Salah's unstoppable as a Fantasy asset."
