Jordan Hallam scored a hat-trick as Sheffied United continued their perfect start to the Premier League Cup campaign with a 3-1 victory against Doncaster Rovers.
The 20-year-old curled in the opener on 26 minutes but Ali Crawford scored an equaliser for the home side before half-time.
Crawford and Jermaine Anderson went close to putting Doncaster 2-1 up but it was the Blades who restored their advantage when Hallam converted Reece York's cross.
Hallam completed the scoring with an 85th-minute penalty, putting the Blades top of Group B on six points.
Everton lie second after winning their one match so far.
Doncaster are without any points after two of their six matches in a group that also features Blackburn Rovers. The top two sides advance to the knockout stages.
