Ian Wright knows what it takes to find the net in the Premier League.
Having found the net 113 times in the competition and been Arsenal's top scorer until Thierry Henry overtook him in 2005/06, Wright is 19th on the Premier League's all-time goalscorer standings.
Wright says Sergio Aguero may struggle to overtake Alan Shearer's record of 260 PL goals but can overtake Wayne Rooney's tally of 208 and claim second place in the all-time list.
Aguero scored his 150th PL goal against Southampton on Sunday, becoming the player to do so in the fewest minutes, and Rooney should very much be in his sights, says Wright.
"Scoring goals in the Premier League is very difficult and Shearer's put a number up there that is really going to take some beating," says Wright.
"But you'd have to say that someone like Sergio Aguero, with a couple more years, will end up at least the second-highest goalscorer in the Premier League.
"If Sergio Aguero stays at Manchester City for another three seasons, he will surpass 200."
'I love his movement'
Aguero, the joint-leading scorer this season with seven PL goals, opened his account with a hat-trick against Huddersfield Town in August and Wright feels the Argentinian's third strike that day showed why he is so dangerous.
"I love his movement in the box, especially for his near-post goals," he says. "I saw a beautiful goal he scored with the outside of the right foot.
"What people don't see is the movement, for him to get that much space in front of a defender. That gives him the opportunity to finish like he did. It's fantastic little subtle movements he makes."
