With away fixtures beckoning for two of Fantasy Premier League's most popular players, Gameweek 13 could benefit those selecting a more left-field choice as captain, according to the experts.
Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) travels to Watford, while Sergio Aguero (£11.5m) faces West Ham United at London Stadium.
With both players having scored only once on their travels this season the FPL experts believe now is the time to hand the armband to a differential option.
Richarlison (£7.0m) and Anthony Martial (£7.6m) head the queue, while Raheem Sterling (£11.2m) also enters into the equation as a major differential for Manchester City.
What the experts say
Holly Shand (@FFCommunity): It’s an open week for captaincy, with the go-to options Aguero and Salah having away fixtures. I’ll likely play safe and opt for one of them, although Richarlison and Martial are tempting differentials.
Sam, FPL Family (@FPLFamily): This week is proving a challenge. The sensible side of me wants to leave the armband with Salah. However, my daring side is considering Raul Jimenez (£5.8m) at home to Huddersfield Town. I’m still uncertain which side will win out.
WGTA (@WGTA_FPL): With arguably no standout captain, it's a good week for a punt. Richarlison and Martial have juicy fixtures and should be top of the list for those looking to climb the ranks.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg): Tough for me this week. Richarlison has a great fixture and I expect Everton to score two or three goals against Cardiff City. However, Sterling doesn't often blank twice and just edges it for me at West Ham.
Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral): A really interesting week. It could be a good time to take a punt. For me, it will be one of Salah or Aguero.
Lee, FPL Family (@FPLFamily): It’s differential time. Chelsea play Tottenham Hotspur, while Man City are away and Liverpool are not quite firing on all cylinders. It looks an ideal Gameweek to pick a non-top six player for the armband. My choice is Richarlison.
Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee): It's the ideal time to have a punt on Martial or maybe one of the Everton duo, Richarlison or Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.5m).
