Joe Nuttall got the only goal as Blackburn Rovers claimed a third win in a row, beating Chelsea away.
The forward struck from the penalty spot three minutes before half-time after Marc Guehi fouled Stefan Mols.
Rovers stay second from bottom of Division 1 on 15 points, while Chelsea are fifth on 21 points, four points off the top.
