With the free-scoring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.4m) and Harry Kane (£12.6m) at the top of the overall points standings for forwards in Fantasy Premier League, managers seemingly have a dilemma as to whom to pick up front.
But Fantasy expert Lee Bonfield says managers could be overlooking an even better option for their forward lines in Sergio Aguero (£11.2m).
"Aubameyang has proven to be fixture-proof in the season so far," says Bonfield in the latest FPL Show when analysing the strikers’ fixtures to come.
"I appreciate he has Manchester City away but the way City are conceding right now, no clean sheets in a while, that shouldn't hold any fear for Aubameyang.
"And then there are the Cardiff, Huddersfield, Southampton, Bournemouth matches around it. Those are defences where he can be pretty explosive."
But Bonfield believes Aguero should also come under serious consideration, especially with a home fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers and trips to Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United in his next three matches.
"Wolves have one clean sheet in the last 13 and we know what Aguero is like at home, he scores goals at home," says Bonfield. "He is FPL royalty."
And when pushed to pick one of the three players?
"Until I saw the fixtures, I was going for Aubameyang," Bonfield says. "But I actually fancy the Argentinian now."
