WHO'S GOING TO BE YOUR

MAN OF THE MATCH?

Aubameyang own goal gives Burnley historic win

A Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang own goal gave Burnley their first-ever Premier League win over Arsenal, who finished the match with 10 men.

Ashley Westwood’s left-wing corner flicked off Aubameyang’s head and into his own net in the 73rd minute.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka had been sent off, following a Video Assistant Referee check, after a clash with Westwood in the 58th minute.

Burnley had nearly taken the lead in the 14th minute when Chris Wood's free header eight yards from goal went wide.

But they were grateful to goalkeeper Nick Pope for saving from Alexandre Lacazette and Kieran Tierney either side of the break.

Arsenal’s third straight Premier League defeat leaves them 15th on 13 points, while Burnley climb out of the bottom three to go 17th on nine points.
