The Scout names a 15-player squad who all play twice in Double Gameweek 37 (DGW37) of Fantasy Premier League.

Brighton & Hove Albion’s Joao Pedro (£5.2m) could prove a budget gem for the millions of managers who are expected to play their Bench Boost chip in DGW37, providing he recovers from an ankle injury picked up in training on Friday.

Although he has scored just once in his last six outings, the Brazilian has boasted a considerable all-round threat ahead of his encounters with Newcastle United and Chelsea.

His 21 shots and 19 shots in the box both rank top for Brighton in that run, while his 14 key passes are just eclipsed by the 15 of playmaker Pascal Gross (£6.1m).

That earns Joao Pedro a place in a squad that is captained by Erling Haaland (£14.2m), with Cole Palmer (£6.2m) named vice-captain.

Djordje Petrovic (Chelsea) £4.6m

The Chelsea goalkeeper faces Nottingham Forest and Brighton in improving form in Fantasy. Petrovic has kept back-to-back clean sheets for the first time this season, amassing 15 points in that run.

Josko Gvardiol (Man City) £5.1m

Manchester City’s Croatian is the most-bought defender in the Gameweek thanks to his impact at both ends of the pitch. Gvardiol has earned more than 245,000 new owners after producing two goals, two assists and two clean sheets in his previous four appearances.

Cristian Romero (Spurs) £5.1m

Tottenham Hotspur’s centre-back has scored five goals this season, more than any other defender in Fantasy. Although a clean sheet against Man City is very unlikely, a home encounter with Burnley gives Romero the chance to deliver a big haul in the first match of his DGW37.

Dan Burn (Newcastle) £4.7m

The centre-back looks a strong prospect at both ends of the pitch for DGW37. Burn has helped Newcastle keep a league-high eight clean sheets at home ahead of their match with Brighton. His aerial threat will also pose big problems in Newcastle's second match against Manchester United, who have conceded more shots at set-pieces than any other side this season.

Son Heung-min (Spurs) £9.9m

Spurs’ South Korean was a huge success against both his DGW37 opponents earlier this season. Son scored a hat-trick against Burnley to earn 20 points in Gameweek four, then produced a goal, an assist and 10 points against Man City in Gameweek 14.

Phil Foden (Man City) £8.4m

His recent run of returns shows why the Man City star could prove an excellent armband alternative against Fulham and Spurs. Foden has five goals, an assist and 41 points in his previous three appearances.

Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) £6.4m

The winger has been a major influence on a Newcastle side who have scored at least four goals in three of their last four matches. Gordon has scored once and supplied five assists in that spell to total 34 points.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £6.2m

Chelsea’s top scorer sits joint-top of the overall player standings on 224 points in his breakout Fantasy campaign. Palmer is averaging 7.2 points per match, more than any other player this season.

Erling Haaland (Man City) £14.2m

Man City’s talisman warmed up for his DGW37 by scoring four goals against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out to record his season-high haul of 21 points. That took Haaland’s tally to seven goals, an assist and 44 points in his last four outings.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle) £8.4m

The Swede has the form and fixtures to offer a huge differential option for the armband. Isak has been involved in two goals in three of Newcastle’s last four fixtures, producing five strikes, an assist and 34 points.

Joao Pedro (Brighton) £5.2m

An ownership of just six per cent makes the Brighton star a handy differential for DGW37.

Andre Onana (Man Utd) £5.0m

Man Utd’s No 1 offers the potential of save points if they fail to keep a clean sheet against Arsenal or Newcastle. Onana has made six saves in four of his last six appearances, claiming two save points in those encounters.

Richarlison (Spurs) £6.8m

His goal and assist off the bench against Liverpool last weekend suggests the Brazilian will return to Spurs’ first XI for DGW37. Richarlison is averaging a goal every 141.9 minutes this season, a rate quicker than any team-mate.

Lewis Dunk (Brighton) £5.2m

The centre-back has combined three goals and an assist with five clean sheets this season. Dunk’s 26 shots in the box and 12 shots on target both place among the top three defenders in 2023/24.

Marc Cucurella (Chelsea) £4.8m

Chelsea’s left-back has stepped up his output ahead of their fixtures with Nott’m Forest and Brighton. Cucurella has produced both his assists this season, and three of his four clean sheets, across the Blues’ last seven contests.
